TOM & TARLAN

A Magical Persian Wedding at Amanruya, Bodrum

When Tom and Tarlan approached us just a few months before their wedding, we had an exciting challenge ahead. Tarlan had chosen the stunning Amanruya resort in Bodrum for their Persian wedding, and the couple wanted a beautiful multi-day celebration filled with tradition, exceptional entertainment and memorable experiences for their guests.

With limited time, we immediately got to work designing their wedding website and digital invitations, researching venues for their mystical pre-wedding celebration and organising a planning trip to Bodrum. From coordinating international entertainers to bringing together a wonderful team of local suppliers, there was plenty to organise in a short space of time.

A Beautiful Persian Ceremony

Amanruya provided the most extraordinary setting, with its beautiful architecture, peaceful courtyards and lush gardens. Working closely with Tarlan and Nature Bodrum, we created a stunning traditional Persian Sofreh Aghd, beautifully decorated with flowers and meaningful ceremonial details.

The ceremony was a wonderful celebration of Persian traditions, beginning with Tom's entrance accompanied by his two young nieces as flower girls, followed by Tarlan walking with her father. The traditional ceremony was led by close friends, with the couple surrounded by family and friends nestled in between Amanruya’s groves of olive trees.

Making Time for Beautiful Memories

With so many beautiful backdrops around Amanruya, we wanted Tom and Tarlan to have time to enjoy the grounds and capture some truly special photographs. We carefully planned the schedule to allow a relaxed morning of preparations, with time for hair, makeup and those lovely moments with family before the ceremony.

Following the Sofreh Aghd, we dedicated an hour and a half to golden-hour portraits with the incredibly talented Yada Studio. Their artistic approach to bride and groom photography, combined with Amanruya's stunning surroundings, made for some beautiful and timeless images. Allowing this time in the schedule was particularly important to us, giving the couple a chance to enjoy a little time together while their guests moved on to cocktails.
